Bienvenue, hoş geldiniz, خوش آمدید and Welcome to a voyage through the didactics of plurilingualism. During our trip, we will think about why plurilingualism is important, how it can come alive in our classroom (even without knowing all the languages) and will plan a hands-on sequence to be used in your class. In the end, you will be able to promote plurilingual learning explicitly and implicitly within each lesson. Now, we ask that your seats are in the upright position, klappen Sie die Tische hoch and veuillez attacher votre ceinture de langues !

Learning goals

  • You will understand the significance of plurilingualism as a natural and desirable phenomenon.
  • You will become familiar with reference frameworks for promoting plurilingualism in school contexts.
  • You will learn and apply methods to foster plurilingualism in your teaching practices.
  • You will be able to plan a sequence to promote plurilingual learning effectively.
  • You will know and utilize digital tools to enhance plurilingualism in educational settings.
